Test was done with 120 grain Remington bullets seated just off of the lands using RWS brass. I did not measure the overall length but the loaded round was the max length that fit in the magazine well. The long slope of the shoulder made the rounds feed slicker than snot on a doornob through the R 93 Blaser. All shooting was done at 100 yards.

I started with 60 grains of IMR 7828 SSC velocity was 2779 fps and yielded this 1.5 inch group

62 grains was 2884 fps
63 grains was 2949
64 grains was 3049 with a slightly sticky bolt
7828 SSC yielded one group of around an inch but most were 1.5 to 2 inches
I then switched to Hogden Retumbo and things got a little better

Retumbo powder has very sharp and square cut ends and bridges badly in my Redding powder measure. A friend had borrowded my funnel and trickler and forgot to return it so I only did four loads consistancy of the groups and velocity was not good also velocity was low and smoked the heck out of the cases. This powder looks promising and I will try it again when I have retrieved my loaned out stuff
Retumbo
60 grains 2506 FPS
61 grains 2577
62 grains 2662
63 grains 2692

Next I loaded up 58 grains of N560 and got this group

I tried 59 grains of N560 and had signs of pressure and it blowed the group out to nearly 3 inches. It was getting dark so I called it a day. I will continue my testing tommorow and post more information.
