Hornady SST

<i>"I have tried the 139 gr Hornady SST in 3 different rifles at 100m, they are
not as accurate as the 139gr Hornady flat base Interlock. Besides the flat
base is a much better performer on deer. While the SST is very destructive.
On a small deer like the Roebuck you be lucky to find any edible meat that
is not blood shot unless you make a head shot.
I tested the SST on two big deer and would never use them again. The first
deer a doe was taken with a body shot through the lung diaphragm and liver,
it virtually exploded all organs including the stomach this deer was about
75 kg. and shot at 200 yards. A big mess inside.
The second deer a Buck about 90 kg.
shot in the upper neck completely demolished the neck and vertebra at about
150 yards. The rifle was my 7mmSSAI (7mm-08 AI) with the 139 SST at 3000
ft/sec MV.
At 2700 ft these bullets maybe ok????"</i>
