New Blaser BBF 97 Barrels

I got a new set of 20 gage/9.3X74R barrels for my BBF 97, started playing with them even though the wind was very gusty, loaded 56 grains of IMR 4007sc behind a 232 grain Norma Vulcan and got this at 42 yards.



Moved the target back to a full 50 yards, fiddled with the bullet seating depth and charge, shot this with 58 grains of IMR 4007sc.

My supervisor throught the proceedings, never got very excited about the project.

here is the first group out of a clean barrel, using 250 grain Accubonds, I think I can do better, but feel this is pretty good accuracy for a break open gun.
