Benchrest!!

What kind of rest are you using in Benchrest, are there anyone who has experinces with the Farley rest ??

I have been using home-made, the base is made of 316SS and the top is aluminium, I´m going to have the windage top soon!!

I have been using a homemade rest until recently, a month ago I got a rest from Varide Cicognani, http://www.varidecicognani.com/eng/catalog2.php?idp=3 and I was pleased to see how well made it seems to be but I haven’t really tried it out yet. I was also looking for a Farley rest but the price, 700 $, of it made me choose a rest of conventional style.

That home made rest of yours seems very well made, just the windage top missing.

The Varide Cicognani rest is a good choice, tell me how much does it weigt??

The Farley is starting to be more on the line, cool design!!

Hi Lott!

The Swedish BR team is about to start planning the trip to the WBC 8 in Ohio (at Kelblys range) next Sep. One plan is to fly to JFK and rent cars to drive down to Kelblys. I checked airfares and Iceland Air was not bad at all! Mabye there will turn up a few Swedish benchresters in Keflavik to stay a few days on Iceland and have a look around
