Looks like a really nice press, but the distance from holders to the tools looks quite high?
Is that becouse same press should handle 12/65 up to 12/89 cartridges ?
Can you get the italian motors now ?

This type off press is for charging " the italian way " , and the use of a spinning finisher ( called crimper)
All press of this type is an invent of the italian Biocomb press who orginally had one star crimp tool and
One spinning tool below motor. Simply explained: after you have filled your hulls with powder wad & shot
You place the shell under the star crimp tool and pull the handle, then you move the shell to below
The spinner ( crimper tool) pull the handle and work the coned star down.
There are different type of crimpers and some if for just make a rollcrimp with plastic or paper/cork disc.

Nikos press have taken the process BEFORE the spinning to another level, more like you see in industrial
Loading machines who often work with 5 different tools inline.

Give Nikos a PM and ask , biggest problem will be the motor , that is an from fabric modified Washingmachine motor
With stronger bearings and electronic reduced speed . Nikos have also made an own design of the SMART press where
You use an bench drilling machine for the spinner, will be a way more easy project becouse of the easy to find
Bench drill from JULA , Bauhaus etc etc , däremot crimpern och stjärnstukare skulle jag köpa färdig då åtminstone
Crimpern kräver mkt stor erfarenhet , stjärnstukaren är 3-delad så den kanske du får till via att mäta av en befintlig

Happy new year to everyone! The concept of this prototype is to ensure that I have combine all the latest technologies in one single and small 4 stages rolling-spinning press and by the way this is something that I can put under the concept A5S [ http://www.idiogomosi.com/pages/idiogomosi-a5s.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ] that was my last official project

As Peter said, this A4S can handle from 12/65 to 12/89 SuperMagnum hulls without needs any mods and I also have in mind a completely different 5 stages concept and we will see if we can handle it in some way in the near future... Regarding the motor I can tell that is the original Cortini & Pezzotti [C&P] motor and comes directly from the Italian factory to us by the Cortini and has some modifications as coils, bearings and mask, as Cortini's specs
