Hello Corjack,

Consider myself having quite a good experience when it comes to both Vulcan and Oryx, from small 30kg roedeers up to 250kg+ moosebulls. I'm half German (thats my excuse) why I agree about what sign Husqvarna wrote earlier, Oryx struggles to become succesfull in Germany and other mid European countries were they lack big games like we have here in Sweden. In enviroments were the game is maximum 100-150g kg I see no reason what so ever to choose Oryx in fauvor of Vulcan. I have taken Oryx bullets out of a small moosecalf that have passed the whole body, from chest to it's rear, with nothing else than a FMJ efficassy. Also many bad experiences with small pigs. But as you said, 9,3 mm normally does the job anyway.

Oryx behave different in different calibres and speeds. All together is my opinion that Oryx is an unneccesary invention for small and midsized game. Vulcan on the other hand will never dissapoint you in situations as you mentioned.

However, it's like swearing in the church sometimes to say something negative about ORYX in Sweden
