Hi Lott!

Are there any plans for a new benchrest range on Iceland? If I´m not all wrong there is apartments built right on top of the old one<img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>

The Swedish BR gang, and a few Norwegians as well, would like a trip to Iceland. We have several times discussed the possbilaty to have a Scandinavian championship on Iceland.

Hi Stefan!!

The old shooting range has become a very nice neighborhood now <img src=icon_smile_dissapprove.gif border=0 align=middle>

We did get a new allogation for our new range this summer, there has been some conflict about it but that is all solwed. The city counsil hasn´t start processing this summer but let´s hope that it will start next summer so we can start shooting sooner!!

We did talk about the championship last time we talked Stefan, I know that it would help the sport alot here in Island and it would be great to shoot with the Gang. I talked to one of the guys that takes care of the rifle division at the club here in Reykjavík, he was surprized that some of our friends in Scandinavia were willing to come to Island for a competition, it will be one day!!!

Congratulation with a great WBC. I have heard many good words about this competition Stefan <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>. I received the movies from Lars some days ago and it is was great to watch it (you). How did you like the competition and the resault, I guess that Tony Boyer could do better <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

I think the WBC 7 was a sucsess when it comes to the arrangement. I didn´t do well at alla during the competition[<img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle> The weeks before the match was hectical and I more or less had dropped the dream of doing any good during the WBC (with the gun that is).

I had my hands full with helping friends from all around the world to get organised and find all the little things you need and can´t bring.

I had a really good time though! We spent some time before and after the WBC with the Aussies, Kivis and the crew from South Africa. Great days with all sorts of things going on from bbq to a match at the running moose range<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Tony Boyer didn´t show his usual class this time. But other Americans stepped in and put most of us behind them in the score list..... Darrel Loker (sitting next to me) did some amazing shooting!! He was a really nice fellow that liked hunting a lot. We had some really interesting discussions during the WBC. He had only been shooting benchrest for some 2-3 years! Thats what I call picking up the phase in a hurry!<img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
