I just got a nice pair of old Warne Premier 30 mm scope rings. They are wellmade and glossy blued.
I bought them from Idaho

Those were well made and very servicable, but did not seem to sell well here. The Tally bases and rings seem to sell better.

Maybe, but I can´t understand why they stopped the manufacturing of the Premier.
They look nice, and besides premier bases and Kimber, they fit all the 22´s in the world, and a lot of combination guns etc.
There should be a market

That is the problem with living in a throw away society. Not enough folks are willing to spend a little more money to get a product that is of more quality. They buy the cheapest products and when the break or fail they just buy again.Leupold,Burris and a few others make good mounting systems, you would not believe the amount of guys I know that would rather buy a no name brand manufatured in a sweatshop factory in China just to save 15.00. And then bitch to me how their scope will not stay in place or zeroed or falls off while they are hunting.Usually I tell them they get what they deserved.

The Premiers are really fine mounts. I haven't forgiven Warne for stopping make them.
