22 lr test

I have been testing a bullet modification tool and so far my results are inconclusive. They top row of targets are unmodified and the bottom ones have been bumped up to .225. The conditions are very windy today and I am not going to shoot anymore until the wind dies down.







Yesterday I shot all day also under gusty wind conditions using a Sako Finnfire. I am not sure this tool is worth messing with but I am sure having a lot of fun.

i am trying to find a usefull 22lr for the same rifle, fore now the best i have found is cci standard, about 12mm cc in five shots series at 50m
today i did pick up som elay rounds to try

CCI standard velocity is good low cost ammo.

There is a fellow named Neal Waltz in Ohio, USA that makes the tool. It is a very precision built tool. I am going to try and figure out how to add a micrometer adjustment so that results would be repeatable if you kept a log of the rifle and type of ammo that was adjusted.

It does both, you can make an EPS tip like an Eley or a nice hollow point and expand bullets up to .225.

there are som guys in norway making tools like this as well,on kammeret.no
seems like a lot of work to me(on the bullets,not the tools),but as long as one is having fun,I say go for it

did som testing whit 2 elay and norma 2

elay sport and club did not have it
but norma 2 had som
about 20mm @ 100m, 7 rounds, did yse 3 to find whre to aim
that was shot in perfekt wind, had only 10 minuts at sunset when it was calm
did try it agin when it was a litle more wind, and then it was about 50mm cc

We can not get Norma 22 shells in the US
